Chinese Consulate often spites political dissidents, Fan Lun Gong and Zhong Gong practitioners, family church members and asylum applicants when they try to apply for renewal of passport. Sometimes the application was refused; some applicants were requested to sign documents of untruth. All these are against Chinese Constitute and the deprivation of legal rights of overseas Chinese.

Mr. Liu Yinquan’s father has serious heart attack and ANFH; Ms. Wu Chaohong’s father had a stroke and side-paralysis and was dying. They applied for renewal of passports on Aug. 14,2007 at Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles but they met many difficulties. Later they tried several times and were refused and could not get the new passport to return for the last visiting of their dying father. In March 2009 Wu Chao Hong’s father died and she applied again for the renewal of passport so she could return for the funeral of her father but she was refused again and was deprived of her civil rights and lost her humanitarian visiting right, her right to back home for her father’s funeral.

We, a group of persons in exile from deferent lines, will hold the press conference to expose, denounce and protest against the abuse of human rights by the Chinese government. After the conference, we will go to Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles to present the protest letter.

Wu Renhua, Geoge Mo, Wufan, Caoan, Zheng Cunzhu, David Tsai, Liu Yi, Sun Ping, David Li etc. will attent the conference and give speeches. Mr. Liu Yinquan and Ms. Wu Chao Hong will introduce more details during the conference.

During the conference, we will appeal to the public to rescue Mr. Guo Quan, the political dissident in prison.
