Recently, the entire world has been greatly shaken by the “Sanlu” milk powder, whose toxin has brought death to a couple of infants and illness to thousands of infants. Also, the gangue collapse in Xiangfen, Shanxi Province onn Sept 8th, which caused nearly 300 deaths and numerous injured people, has drawn the attention of the world. These events lead to our great bitterness and sympathy for Chinese citizens, who still do not have their deserved human rights.

From the “big-head infants” event (the illness also caused by noxious milk powder) in Anhui Province to the gangue collapsing one after another, it is obvious that no matter what kind of promise the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has made, tragedies will not cease to occur. This is because the state apparatus that is supposed to protect the citizens’ rights and properties is now being used privately by the gerentocrates, that is, the one-party autarchy.

The “Sanlu” noxious milk powder and the gangue collapse in Shanxi seem to be fake commodities and may deal with illegal business operations, but what lies behind the two are the problems of the social system. One can hardly imagine what would happen without the protection of government officials—would those illegal merchants still be so unscrupulous? And how can those evil forces become the mainstream of China if it wasn’t for the autarchic tyranny? Now the social system has become the system of corruption, evil, and chaos.

This system is not based on human rights, or the respect of its’ citizens’ life. Its’ laws and rules are no longer effective. This comes from the lack of external supervision. Besides, the one-party autarchy and its’ corrupt culture have made the morality system collapse. By its’ control over the newspapers and the media, truth and reality are concealed, and the “harmony” (the recent most favorite word of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China) is made up.

A nation that harms its own children has no bright future. We citizens can never avoid the obligation of our own future. We must rise and unite, and maintain our citizen rights. Otherwise, no one will do it for us.

We appeal to China’s Citizens’ voice. We hereby demand:
1. The Central Committee of CCP to take implacable action, to punish the officials responsible for the noxious milk powder and the Shangxi gangue downfall.

2. The Central Committee of CCP to make state compensation to all casualties.

3. The Central Committee of CCP to cancel the control over the newspapers and the media, and open the path of citizens’ supervision.

4. The Central Committee of CCP to immediately launch political reformation.
